We are currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join the team at our Achieve Therapy Services clinic in Charlotte, NC.  Our ideal candidate will collaborate effectively within the occupational therapy team as well as with SLPs and BCBAs within our multidisciplinary clinic to provide continuity of care and high quality therapeutic services.  He or she will have a passion for working with children and their families to promote health, well-being and participation in life.  This individual will have a drive to continually further his or her professional expertise and a desire to share his or her knowledge and experience with others. 

Under the direction of the Lead Occupational Therapist this individual will be responsible for evaluating, developing and implementing appropriate and clinically-sound treatment plans based on client goals.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Complete daily treatment notes and input into company electronic medical records system;
  • Organize work and efficiently maintain his/her caseload
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in documentation and treatment fidelity
  • Provide routine family education programming to support the treatment plan
  • Keep abreast of current evaluation/treatment approaches, assessments, equipment, research developments, etc.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Occupational Therapist.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (NBCOT certification preferred)
  • Current OT License in State of NC in good standing
  • Experience with SI interventions and feeding  (preferred)
  • Experience providing COTA supervision (preferred)
